With unwavering devotion, Emma Heming stands firmly by Bruce Willis’s side, providing him with unwavering support as they navigate the challenges of their journey. In a heartfelt display of love, she shares her story and sheds light on her efforts. At 44 years old, she has made it her mission to raise awareness about brain health, driven by her husband’s diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.

Amidst Bruce’s battle, she constantly gives fans updates about it.

The model and entrepreneur has launched her brand, Make Time Wellness, focusing on prioritizing brain health in women’s wellness routines. Heming opens up about the personal significance of launching her brain health brand, which aligns with her role as a caregiver for her husband, Bruce Willis.

“For me, it’s really about connecting to a community and being open and able to talk about dementia and to take away that stigma that there is no shame around it,” she claims.

“I’m learning through the process.” She further reveals. Indeed, recently, Emma provided an update on Bruce Willis’ health. “When you live the world of dementia you know that options are slim,” she shared. “But some won’t take that lying down which is how change is made, and I got to witness the beauty in that last night.”

She pleads with photographers to respect Bruce’s privacy during his public outings.

After the news of his FTD (frontotemporal dementia) diagnosis became public, and Bruce Willis hung out with a few friends for a coffee, paparazzi tried to get closer to the actor to grab a couple of good shots of him and ask him questions.

Heming called them out, sharing that people still need to be educated about behaving around people with dementia. She shared, “To the photographers who are trying to get exclusives of my husband, just keep your space. I know this is your job but maybe keep your space. Please don’t be yelling at my husband, ask him how he’s doing, the yippee ki-yay. Just don’t do it. Give him space, and allow our family to get from point A to point B safely.

“If you are someone that is looking after someone with dementia, you know how difficult and stressful it can be to take them out in the world and just to navigate them safely, even to just get a cup of coffee,” she shared.

Heming is always going to advocate for Willis. “[I want to] raise awareness around FTD and for the caregivers who are unsung heroes out there. Then I’m going to turn the grief and sadness and turn it into something good,” she candidly said. “I just want my husband to participate in his life to the fullest.

Emma Heming Willis does everything she can to get knowledge of the FTD condition.

Heming collaborated with specialists to create a dementia care toolbox, offering hope, inspiration, and ideas for improved quality of life. The toolbox focuses on safety, connection, purpose, activity, and positivity.

It includes practical resources like reminders to wash hands or not forget keys, methods for staying connected, creating daily to-do lists, engaging in stimulating activities, and maintaining a positive mindset with breathing exercises or conversations with loved ones.

Dementia tool kits provide evidence-based resources in five key areas. They promote safety with reminders for daily tasks. They encourage connection through communication strategies. They foster a sense of purpose by organizing daily plans. They emphasize staying active with outdoor activities and hobbies. Lastly, they promote positivity through mindfulness exercises and social support.

Emma and Bruce’s bond transcends the typical marital connection as they stand by each other during life’s most challenging moments. Despite the age difference, Bruce has found his greatest love in Emma, who continues to hold his hand as they navigate the journey of dementia together.
