Josh Duhamel Will Be a Father For the Second Time, and His Ex-Wife Fergie Had a Surprising Reaction

Josh Duhamel, 50, and his wife Audra Mari, 29, have announced they’re expecting their first child together, and the actor’s ex-wife Fergie had something to say about it.

The couple has been together for 4 years.

On September 11, Duhamel and Mari surprised their followers on Instagram with a photo of ultrasound scans and a caption that read: “Baby Duhamel coming soon 🤍.”

The unexpected baby news comes 1 year after the two tied the knot and only 1 day after they publicly celebrated their anniversary. “Happy year 1, my love. You are just the best. I love you so much,” the actor wrote on his Instagram stories, while Mari chose to share a wedding photo with a special caption: “Happy First Anniversary, sweet man 🤍 oh, how I prayed for you.”

Sources close to the couple had already revealed they were both ready to be parents. “[He] wants more kids and always has, so they probably will have kids sooner than later. He’s not shy about it, but he’s felt this way since Axl was very young,” one source said of Josh’s wishes to parent a second kid. “He loves being a father.”

As for Mari, it was said she would “love to have kids with Josh” and was “getting to know” his son Axl.

Fergie fully supports him.

Fergie and Duhamel were married for 10 years, from 2009 to 2019, and a son was born from that relationship, 10-year-old Axl. When the couple announced their split in 2017, they vowed to “always be united in [their] support of each other and [their] family,” and it seems they’re holding up to their promise.

Fergie took to the comment section of Mari’s pregnancy announcement post to express her feelings about it and reveal Axl’s reaction to the news. “I am truly happy for you guys🥰🥰 Axl can’t wait to be a big brother,” she wrote.
