Madonna Responds to Critics With a Pic After ’’Swelling From Surgery’’ Has Gone Down

2 weeks after her Grammy’s appearance left many of her followers speechless, Madonna clapped back by posting a new photo of herself. She accompanied it with a message to all the people who had been commenting on her looks.

The Queen of Pop, 64, once again proved that age is just a number because we can look fabulous and stylish at any phase of our lives. She posted a photo of herself casually seated, wearing ripped jeans and a black cap.

She added the caption, ’’Look how cute I am now that swelling from surgery has gone down. Lol.’’

As a matter of fact, Madonna’s face has been a quite popular topic of discussion lately, as some people claimed that the star had work done on her face.

After Madonna took the stage during the 2023 Grammy’s, many of her fans found that she looked very different. One fan noted, ’’Madonna needs to stop with the plastic surgery and embrace the aging process. She’s nearly unrecognizable at this point.’’

After the Grammy’s, Madonna reacted to these comments by posting a long message on her Instagram. She had explained that the ’’close-up’’ from a ’’long lens camera’’ distorted her face and made it appear rounder and puffier than it was in reality.

Furthermore, Madonna expressed her annoyance at how people ignored what she said on stage and directed all their attention to how she looked. She noted, ’’Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim — Many people chose to only talk about close-up photos of me.’’

The music legend then continued to complain about living in a ’’world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45.’’ Instead, according to her, people criticize her for being ’’strong-willed, hard-working, and adventurous.’’

Madonna also added that she will stick to her beliefs when it comes to her physique and choices.
She firmly declared that she was not going to start apologizing for any of the creative choices she has made nor for the way that she looks or dresses. And it seems that she is sticking to her words by posting this new photo and confidently flaunting her face and style, and we think she’s fabulous for it.
