These Plus-Sized Models Recreated Iconic Celebrity Looks to Promote Self-Love

Skinny is the typical word we’d use to describe a model, especially in the 1990s. In contrast to the Kardashian-era body type that is voluptuous and curvy, this trend seems to be on its way back “in.” But that fact doesn’t stop these plus-sized models from flaunting their curvy bodies.

Instead, they’re getting creative by recreating the thinner celebrities’ looks. Just like Stella Williams says, “We have to aspire to getting more body representation in different areas.”

1. Katie Sutrino recreates Hailey Beiber’s look.

2. Gabriella Athena Halikas recreates Kim Kardashian’s look.

3. Katie Sutrino recreates Kaia Gerber’s look.

4. Paloma Elsesser recreates Aaliyah’s look.

7. Diana Sirokai recreates Kim Kardashian’s look.

8. Katie Sutrino recreates Miley Cyrus’s look.

9. Stella Williams recreates Hunter Schafer’s look.

That is disgusting. They do not look the same and there is this thing called dress for your weight. Especially the last one with the feather. And the black outfit Miley Cirus outfit. Just gross. Have some self respect 🐮

Why do they call it plus size ?? There shouldn’t even be a plus size. All sizes are beautiful, and none are as huge as plus size makes it sound

plus size doesnt mean bad. Its a fine thing to call it. Of course all sizes are beautiful, BUT they need a size for clothing etc.

This is so sad, you shouldn’t be happy that you are fat, you should be ashamed, otherwise you will never change for the better, coming from experience here. Stop promoting this and start acting like responsible adults !

That is like saying if you do not fit a standard just don't live. Everyone is different and beautiful, even if some of the outfits didn't work on either size.

This is so funny and ridiculous. Stop trying to portray being obese as normal. Professional body builders recognize that their bodies bodies are not normal. They accept what they do to thier bodies without telling others to accept them as normal. Those who become obese due to their gluttony, leave us alone like the the body builders do.

Thin or not, some outfits just don't work. Everyone is different and based on how you present yourself, people will either be able to appreciate you or unable to stomach you, thin or thick.

Plus size means BIG, not morbidly obese.
Body positivity? There is nothing positive about a body that's morbidly obese.

To promote Self-Love, people should take responsibility for - and care of their bodies - first instead of contributing to the problem.

Some look better on the skinny models and some look better on the plus size models. I don’t understand all of this hate towards the plus size models. You can’t control what suits you and what doesn’t.
