At 93, Legendary Astronaut Buzz Aldrin Marries His ’’Longtime Love’’ and He Chose a Special Day to Do It

In 1969, Buzz Aldrin made history as the second man ever to touch the surface of the moon. And today, this legendary astronaut is still living his life to the fullest. On his 93rd birthday, Buzz married his longtime girlfriend who is 30 years his junior, proving that when 2 hearts are deeply connected, there is no age limit or age gap that can stop their love.

Born Edwin Aldrin, the retired astronaut has been married 3 times previously and is a father to 3 children. He also has 4 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

His new bride is 63-year-old Dr. Anca Faur. Anca has a PhD in chemical engineering and has been working as the Executive Vice President of Buzz Aldrin Ventures LLC since 2019.

The retired astronaut announced the big news on his Twitter, sharing 2 photos of the happy day. He wore a tuxedo, while his bride wore a long-sleeved glittering dress. Buzz tweeted, ’’On my 93rd birthday & the day I will also be honored by Living Legends of Aviation, I am pleased to announce that my longtime love Dr. Anca Faur & I have tied the knot.’’
