3 Steps to Choosing the Perfect Pair of Jeans Without Trying Them On

Each person in America owns an average of 7 pairs of jeans, according to researchers, but most of us usually only wear 4 pairs of them. That’s why it is a must to learn these simple tricks that will help you easily find the jeans of your dreams — without even having to try them on.

Step #1: Choose the size

To choose the right size, hold your jeans at the ends of the waist, and try to wrap them around your neck at the button level. If the ends easily touch each other, it’s your size.

Please note that the ends of the waist don’t necessarily have to meet precisely, but they should easily wrap around your neck.

Step #2: Define the width

Well, let’s try to find the perfect width. To do this, bend your arm at the elbow, and clench a fist. Your arm should easily fit into a zipped-up waistband. Just one step left, and we can hurry to the counter.

This trick will work only for those who wear jeans with a standard waist. Of course, if they’re high-waisted jeans, your arm shouldn’t fit into the waist completely.

Step #3: Check the length

Let’s finally check to see if the jeans are long enough. Hold the edges of the legs, and put your arms to the sides as far as you can, if the middle of the jeans is right under your chin, congratulations! You’ve chosen a great pair!

An important detail: the middle should be right under your chin at neck level.
