10 Celebrities Who Started Out on Kids’ Shows
They started young and are still thriving in their respective careers now. We’ve seen them grow and mature through their movie roles and solo gigs, from kid shows to Hollywood blockbusters. It just goes to show that we are getting older, but it is heartwarming to know that we grew old alongside them.
At Bright Side, we compiled a list of celebrities who started out on kid shows, and we were surprised at how mature and beautiful they are now.
1. Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck was part of an educational television show called The Voyage of the Mimi back in 1984. He started young with this role, and now he has a lot of films under his belt, one of which is The Flash, which will be released in 2023.
2. Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba started young in the show called The Secret World of Alex Mack in 1994. She now manages many of her own businesses, from acting to being a mother and a businesswoman. However, she has a role in a film coming out in a few months called Trigger Warning.
3. Jennifer Love Hewitt
In 1989, Jennifer Love Hewitt had a role in a show called Kids Incorporated. She was young at the time, and now, she is still working as an actress in films and television shows. Her most recent films are Betty White: A Celebration, a documentary, and 9-1-1, a television show.
4. Laurence Fishburne
Laurence Fishburne had a role in the series Pee-wee’s Playhouse back in 1986. Now, he has a lot of standby films that will be coming out this upcoming year, one of which is John Wick: Chapter 4. He also has some shows on standby, including Cookies & Milk.
5. Alanis Morissette
Alanis Morissette had a role in a show called You Can’t Do That on Television back in 1986. She has previously appeared in shows and films, but she is now more focused on her music career as a songwriter and singer.
6. Hayden Christensen
In 1995, Hayden Christensen was part of a series called Goosebumps. He was part of the film Star Wars, and now, he still plays Anakin Skywalker in the miniseries called Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka.
7. Felicity Jones
Felicity Jones was part of a series called The Worst Witch in 1998. She was in many great films, but there are no new movies or TV shows with her as of yet.
8. Keri Russell
In 1991, Keri Russell was part of the series The All New Mickey Mouse Club. Now she has a role in a movie and in a series called Extrapolations, which will be released in a few months.

Julia Stiles was part of a TV series called Ghostwriter, back in 1992. Now, she has a role in multiple movies and shows, including in the upcoming movie called Orphan: First Kill.
10. Michelle Trachtenberg
In 1995, Michelle Trachtenberg had a role in a series called The Adventures of Pete & Pete. Now, she has a role in a TV series called Gossip Girl, which will have 2 seasons.
