Let’s go back in time and experience the moments our great-grandparents lived through. Vintage items can help us put ourselves in their shoes and they also keep the memories alive of the many hands that touched them. There are people who still use vintage items and prove that they work as perfectly as the day they were bought.

We at Bright Side had a good time searching for these items and experiences from people and now we are sharing them with you.

1. A working hole punch that is 100+ years old

2. My father’s Talkboy from the 1990s that still works perfectly

3. A gift from my great-grandmother, a vintage Mickey Mouse pocket watch in great condition

4. A vintage piggy bank slot machine from Las Vegas

5. My grandfather’s Sears Roebuck belt sander from the 50s/60s — it’s still in a perfect condition.

7. 100-year-old waffle iron that I still use

8. Pocket watch from the Ottoman Empire, 140 years old and it still works.

9. My Kitchen Aid mixer from the 1960s is in perfect condition and I have been using it for 8 years now.

10. My 40-year-old Tonka Crane — now I’ve given it to my son.

11. My friend, my sewing machine from the 1950s

12. My grandfather gave me this Tube Radio as a gift from the 40s/50s and it still has an amazing sound.

13. Meat grinder from the 1920s

14. My 75-year-old grinder — I am never going to use another one.

15. 100+ year-old iron in perfect condition, no electricity, no problem

16. Peugeot coffee grinder, 117+ years old, and yes, it is from the carmaker.

17. Steampunk lamp in perfect condition

18. Vintage Icebox fridge from the 19th century

19. Vintage traffic light

20. Rare typewriter from the 1950s, used for writing sheet music

21. Console TV from the ’70s, my entertainment when I was a child

22. My grandfather gave me a CB Radio from the ’70s and it still works.

23. A Swiss music box from the 1940s — it works beautifully.

My grandmother had the smaller meat grinder you attach to the edge of a table. I have a hundred year old singer sewing machine that isnt electric!
