What ’Lord of The Rings’ Actors Look Like After 16 Years

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 18 years since the first part of one of our favorite films, The Lord of the Rings, came out, and 16 years have passed since the last part. Many of us still imagine our beloved Frodo when we hear the name Elijah Wood, and he was only 20 when The Fellowship of the Ring came out. Now he’s almost twice as old!
We at Bright Side became a bit nostalgic about this iconic franchise and decided to take a look at how the actors have changed over the years!
1. Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn
2. David Wenham as Faramir
3. Miranda Otto as Éowyn
4. Hugo Weaving as Elrond
5. Elijah Wood as Frodo
6. Liv Tyler as Arwen
7. Ian McKellen as Gandalf
8. Sean Astin as Sam
9. Billy Boyd as Pippin
10. Dominic Monaghan as Merry
11. Orlando Bloom as Legolas
12. Cate Blanchett as Galadriel
13. Sean Bean as Boromir
14. Karl Urban as Éomer
15. Andy Serkis as Gollum
Who is your favorite character? Do you still follow any of these actors’ careers? Which new movies or TV series do you like that they’re in?
