When we think of celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon, we’re happy that they’ve become successful. These people don’t just enjoy fame and money, but they also realize their importance in this word. Having a good heart is something they can use to change lives for the better and they’re a good example of this.

We at Bright Side were inspired by these celebrities and would love to share their stories of kindness with you to help us all remember that love and care are everywhere.

1. Leonardo DiCaprio and his mission of protecting the world’s last wild places

Leonardo DiCaprio is not just an actor, but he’s also a great environmentalist and philanthropist. In 1998, he created a foundation dedicated to securing a sustainable and happy future for our planet. Under his lead, 200 projects were founded, 132 different organizations were supported, and 50 countries got aid. That’s massive!

The actor confirms that he has achieved a lot of things and that happiness is not about achieving great wealth or success, but contributing in some way to the world around you. And DiCaprio proves his words to be true through his actions.

2. Matt Damon and H2O Africa Foundation

We love Matt Damon for his smile, that gives away his kind heart. His humanitarian work is very commendable and the H2O Foundation that he established proves it. He’s also an ambassador for other nonprofit organizations, which includes improving the lives of children at home around the world. So far, Damon has helped 16 million people.

These charity projects make him happy. “You will never get there with philanthropy alone. You have to bring in the real money,” said the actor. And he does just that.

She says that if you hate someone, that’s not a solution. The actress just helps others to make their lives better with her campaign, HeForShe.

5. Justin Bieber and his constant donations

Believe Charity Drive started with the release of Justin Bieber’s album, Under the Mistletoe. The singer encourages his fans to help people in need, live mindfully, and contribute their time to worthy causes. Not so long ago, in February of 2020, Bieber donated $200,000 to women’s shelters.

In a gesture that speaks volumes about their deep friendship, Leonardo DiCaprio presented Kate Winslet with a ring bearing a secret engraving. While the nature of the inscription remains private, Winslet playfully teased its existence in an interview.
