In November 2019, all the fluffy creatures (basically dozens of cats and dogs) who lived in an animal shelter in Minnesota found new homes over just one weekend. The folks from our article couldn’t stand idly on the sidelines and also got pets who were in need of love and care and their stories confirm that there’s still a place for kindness in this world.
Here, at Bright Side, we want to say thank you to all of these wonderful people who’ve saved animals and given them a new and happy life.
“He was covered in matted fur, and I had to completely shave off his fur on his back legs, sides, and his stomach.”
We’re sure that, among our readers, there are heroes who weren’t afraid to take an animal from the street and give it a new life. Tell us about your rescued pets and, of course, share their photos with us.

This is Maddix, he is 4 years old. Adopted on May 28th. He is very shy but is definitely starting to come out of his shell and has the best smile!
This is Sailor. We found her on the street, bloody and in shock after someone had hit her and left her for dead. She now sleeps on my chest every night and is excited to see me when I come home from work. She has feline leukemia and may not be long for this world, but I’m going to make it the happiest life I can.
poor baby. thank you for being an angel for her and give her a second chance. wish you the best ❤
