Each language has fixed phrases that mean “to do work in a slipshod manner.” It’s used when we speak about those who perform their duties without much enthusiasm, to say the least. However, some of these people have truly perfected the art of irresponsibility.
We at Bright Side believe that any work, no matter how simple, should be carried out fully and responsibly. Otherwise, it’s better not to start doing it at all.
How is this so common?

“I’ve laid the bricks, boss!”

“I see this every time I go to work.”
“I think someone really messed up.”
Well, at least it’s all in the box!
“My mom only replaced half the picture wheel. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 are me. The rest are stock pictures.”

“Look at the snap that ’closes’ the sheath for my new knife.”
“I ordered 1 lb of Brussels sprouts but received 1 Brussels sprout instead.”
“They’re both left doors.”
Dad: “Hey, do you need any help with dinner?”
Mom: “Yeah, just grab that sack of potatoes, peel half of them for me, and put them in a pot to boil.”
Result:
“The courier delivered this cake to me by bicycle. It seems the penguin is shocked and went bald due to stress. ”
At least it’s charging...
