Bon Jovi Finally Opens up About His Son Getting Engaged at Only 20-Years-Old

Bon Jovi is being candid about his thoughts on his young son’s engagement to 19-year-old Millie Bobby Brown. The rock icon himself met his high school sweetheart at 18, and their marriage has been going strong for 34 years.

Finding the one is what truly counts.

During a recent radio interview, the music legend asked if he has concerns regarding his 20-year-old son Jake’s hasty decision to marry a 19-year-old Stranger Things actress.

Jon noted, ’’I don’t know if age matters.’’ He added, ’’If you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice, really, is growing together is wise.’’

His son is following in his footsteps

The It’s My Life singer has been married to his long-time partner Dorothea Hurley, whom he met in high school, for more than 3 decades. The couple secretly tied the knot in 1989 at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

Aside from Jake, the pair are parents to a daughter and 2 other sons, and now 3 of their 4 kids are engaged.

The proud dad declared, ’’I think that all of my kids have found the people that they think they can grow together with, and we like ’em all.’’

Young love at its best

Last month, Jake proposed to Millie and gifted her a stunning diamond ring that is estimated to be valued between $75,000 to $150,000.
The couple shared the news of their engagement on Instagram, with a black and white photo of Jake embracing his fiancée from behind as she displayed her impressive ring.

Millie captioned the pic ’’I’ve loved you 3 summers now, honey, I want ’em all.’’

They might be young in age, but the romance between these 2 lovebirds is undoubtedly earnest and intense. And just by the words Millie uses to describe Jake, we feel their bond will last a lifetime.
