Meghan Trainor Welcomes Baby No. 2, Reveals Unusual Name

Meghan Trainor and her husband, Daryl Sabara, have joyfully welcomed their second child together. Sharing the happy news, the mother of two posted a heartwarming collection of photos taken shortly after the baby’s birth on July 1st.

The sweetest coincidence.

Expressing her excitement about the new arrival, the 29-year-old singer shared a series of photos on Instagram. She welcomed her baby boy, who now joins his two-year-old older brother Riley. Meghan also shared the significance of his birthdate, as it coincides with the couple’s seventh anniversary since their first date.

A successful C-section.

Weighing in at a healthy 8 pounds and 7 ounces, the baby made quite an entrance by being in a sideways (transverse) position. Despite this, Meghan Trainor expressed her contentment with the successful c-section procedure, finally allowing her to have precious skin-to-skin contact with her newborn. She extended her heartfelt thanks to the exceptional doctors and nurses who provided excellent care.

The couple already has a name for their baby boy.

In her post, Meghan revealed that the couple has named their baby Barry Bruce Trainor. Earlier in April, Meghan and Daryl shared the gender of the baby. The All That Bass singer has also been vocal about wanting four kids.
