Promising review: I always make this with fat-free milk and it is still delicious. I’ve been steadily losing weight and one of the changes I’ve made is eating this pudding instead of mini candy bars or ice cream for dessert/snacks. It thickens and sets pretty quickly too. I’ve tried the chocolate, white chocolate, and vanilla, and all 3 are really tasty. @Rebecca Left

Promising review: I love baking and the one time I tried making pumpkin pie, I used real pumpkin, it tasted horrible and I thought I would never make it again, until I found this online. Since then I won’t use anything else. It is wonderful, most recipes call for the entire tin, so I don’t have to worry about wasting any filling and all I have to do is add the other ingredients. It tasted amazing. @laura pearce

Pie crust recipe
You will need a base for your pumpkin pie, and this is how you can cook the pie crust.
Ingredients:
Place all the ingredients in a bowl and stir them together with a fork. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a pie pan and up the sides of it. Poke holes in the bottom and the sides of the crust. Bake the crust in a preheated oven until it’s light brown.
Promising review: I love Wright’s cake mixes. They are easy to use and only need water and oil. They have a home-baked flavor, unlike other cake mixes, which I find taste very artificial. The cakes are moist and keep well if not eaten and gobbled up almost at once. @A. Knight

Promising review: My wife got a bread maker as a present and I thought it prudent to start off slowly. These mixes were an absolute breeze to make — just add water! The result was a beautifully-formed loaf, a perfect crust, a soft, light inner, and a fantastic flavor. Sorry, no photo. By the time I realized I should have taken a photo, we had eaten most of it. Next time. @Ralph S Bacon

Promising review: This is my very favorite cake mix because one can, if wished, add a flavor of your own choice: it’s very nice with a little ground nutmeg, chopped glace cherries, or ground ginger, coffee, or cocoa powder, but just as nice with the icing which accompanies it and makes it extra special. It always pleases our family and guests. If you are having a tea party, make 2 or even 3 in different flavors. The mix can also be baked in muffin tins if little cakes are required. These can be served exactly as they are or with your own embellishments like icing, fruit jelly sweets, or, for children, initials piped on with colored icing. You can’t go wrong with this mix! @Anna Y

Promising review: I made sure to use unchlorinated water, and the starter was ready to use in 2 hours. The first bread had a very distinct sour flavor, but subsequent loaves were really lovely, with the sourness not quite as sharp and more balanced. Slices of bread rose very well, and the starter is extremely stable, going up very fast and then maintaining activity for a good amount of time. Being so active, though, proofing overnight is proving difficult as it tends to be overproofed by the morning, even with half the required starter. All in all, I am very happy to be making bread with this, it’s much easier and more predictable than the one I’d made myself previously. @Jeaneliz

Promising review: My daughter is a teacher and has one food technology lesson a week that lasts for 30 minutes. It is challenging to make something from scratch for 6 children, but this book has proved to be perfect. They have made a few different recipes, and all have been successful as well as easy. The children really enjoy making easy-to-follow recipes. The pictures are clear, in full color, and ideal for showing children what they are going to achieve. I would highly recommend the book to anyone that is in a hurry and thinking of making a quick sweet treat. You can even make it at work. I think it is a clever idea, and it gives you ideas for making your own “tweaked” versions of the recipes too. @niki

Chocolate frosting recipe
Whatever mug cake from this book you choose to cook, adding some chocolate frosting will be a good idea. Here’s how you can make it.
Ingredients:
Stir melted butter and cocoa powder in a bowl until they are evenly mixed. Add in milk and confectioners’ sugar. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until the mix is smooth and easily spread. Stir in vanilla extract.
Promising review: Best tasting brownie I’ve had in years. I’m so happy to have come across this mix. It was flavorsome, light, and sooo tasty, and when portioned, not too unhealthy as a snack. Most gluten-free products are dry but this was honestly top-level. I will buy it again when all of the boxes are used. I’m so happy, my family, who aren’t gluten-free, said they really liked it too. @Amy Horton
