Shannen Doherty, 52, generously shares another glimpse into her personal journey leading up to the surgical removal of a tumor from her head in January, allowing her fans to gain further insight into her experience.

On Wednesday, the actress took to Instagram to post a video clip from January 16. In the footage, she bravely navigates the moments leading up to her surgery while doctors prepare her for the procedure.

“I had a tumor in my head they wanted to remove and also biopsy. I am clearly trying to be brave, but I am petrified. The fear was overwhelming to me. Scared of all possible bad outcomes, worried about leaving my mom and how that would impact her. Worried that I would come out of surgery not me anymore. This is what cancer can look like,” Shannen opens up about her hard journey.

Before she posted a video showing how the scan detected mets in her brain.

“I am fortunate as I have great doctors like Dr Amin Mirahdi and the amazing techs at cedar sinai. But that fear. The turmoil, the timing of it all. This is what cancer can look like.”

In the interview, Shannen confessed that she shares her cancer journey in order to give a different face to all of it. Her emotional post can give more awareness to people to be careful about their health. This disease taught her to become humble and remember the main things in life.

Three months ago, the actress took to social media to share a photo, symbolizing her remarkable journey towards reclaiming a normal life following chemotherapy and surgery. Filled with excitement, she expressed her joy at the sight of her newly restored eyebrows, expertly crafted by her trusted cosmetologist.

“Since chemo, I have struggled with my eyebrows. As you can see, they were sparse, and I am not the person that enjoys waking up and filling them in every morning,” Shannen wrote in her Instagram to share this little happy moment with fans.

In this fast-paced world, it’s crucial that we prioritize taking care of one another and fostering a culture of spreading positive vibes. Small acts of kindness and compassion can have a significant impact on someone’s day, lifting spirits and creating a ripple effect of positivity.
