The first time the public has seen her pregnant

Lindsay Lohan surprised everyone on April 27, 2023, by posting photos on her Instagram in which she posed with her pregnant belly. The actress, who’s expecting her first child with husband Bader Shammas, couldn’t contain her smile and made sure to express how thankful she is for the moment she’s living and the ones who surround her. “Good times ☺️🤰So grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life,” she wrote.

In the comment section, many friends and celebrities rejoiced when seeing the pictures of the future mom, including names like Paris Hilton and Chord Overstreet. Among the special comments were those of Lisa Ann Walter and Elaine Hendrix, both of whom co-starred with Lohan in The Parent Trap (1998). “Look at this gorgeous mama. So much love to you and your family,” Walter wrote. “So happy for you Lindsey,” Hendrix commented.

She has always wanted to become a mom.

The actress’s mom, Dina Lohan, has spoke on her daughter’s pregnancy, revealing that this was her wish all along. “Lindsay has always loved kids because I love kids and my mother loves kids; I’m one of 4,” Lohan said. “We have a big family, so she’s always wanted children. And she’s so maternal. Isabelle, her niece, just runs to her when she sees her.”

And it couldn’t have come at a more “perfect” time. “She’s been trying and then it happened, that little stick came up positive,” the actress’s mom explained. “It’s the right time for her, and Bader is an angel. Her husband is so sweet and they’re just so happy. They’re just really happy and ready.”
