“Momma’s Dream Is Now Reality” Shemar Moore Brings Baby Frankie to Mom’s Grave

Shemar Moore has been spending extra time with his loved ones. He just recently showed off the first photo of his newborn. In his first weeks of fatherhood, Moore couldn’t wait to introduce his baby girl to his mother, Marilyn, who died in 2020. And we are here to help our beloved readers keep up with Moore’s lovely family.

He welcomed his first child, daughter Frankie, in January.

Shemar Moore revealed that he was having his first kid during an interview and said that he was excited to become a father and that it was a dream come true. Throughout his wife’s pregnancy journey, Moore has been open and candid about his excitement and his worries, giving fans a glimpse into his personal life and his journey to parenthood.

He loved his mama to no end.

Since his mother’s multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 1999, Moore has remained by her side constantly. He explained, “My love for my mom is real and I want her to beat this thing. She’s my Super Woman and she needs to know that someone is out there fighting for her at all times.”

Unfortunately, Moore announced the news of his mother’s passing in 2020, expressing his grief and sadness at losing her. Despite the loss, life continued to surprise him in the years following her death, with the joy of fatherhood and the arrival of his first child.

On the 9th of February, 2023, he and his family visited Marilyn’s grave.

Moore, Jesiree Dizon, and their newborn daughter Frankie were shown in a new Instagram photo he posted on Thursday visiting his mother Marilyn’s grave. He went on to share how his mother’s dream “was for me to become a father and give momma some grandbabies... it took me a minute, but momma’s dream is now reality!!”

He described the photo: “Shemar, Jesiree, Frankie, and the spirit of Grandma Marilyn... I accomplished much and experienced the good, the Great, the light, and the dark... but this I couldn’t do on my own... Jesiree Dizon, we came back into each other’s lives and found love again and created a magical ’lil human together... I’ll call her ‘My little miracle’ I love and miss you every day Grandma Marilyn, RIP 2/8/20”
