What the Actors From “Charmed” Look Like and What They Do 23 Years After the Series Release

The first installment of Charmed came out in 1998 and followed 3 sister-witches who’d fight evil as they conquered the hearts of teenagers all over the world. Thanks to its popularity, 8 seasons of the series were released, and countless actors took part in it.

Today at Bright Side, we want to recall our favorite characters 23 years after the first season was released.

Prue Halliwell — Shannen Doherty

After Charmed, Shannen produced some television shows, starred in a handful of sitcoms, and appeared on several reality shows. In 2015, together with Holly Marie Combs, her colleague from Charmed, they starred in a 6-episode reality show, in which they traveled across the South-East part of the United States and described the places they visited. In 2017, the actress defeated a terrible disease — on her Instagram page, she shared that she was currently in remission.

Phoebe Halliwell— Alyssa Milano

Alyssa Milano starred in a few more movies and TV series after Charmed. Currently, Deadly Desires, a movie on Netflix, is in production and stars Milano. In addition, Milano actively participated in commercials and appeared on covers of popular magazines, like Cosmopolitan, Maxim and Woman’s World.

Paige Matthews — Rose McGowan

After Charmed, Rose McGowan took part in a number of movies, but she mostly had bit roles. She also appeared in music videos. And this is not the only thing that connects McGowan with music — in 2018, her debut album, Planet 9, was released.

Piper Halliwell — Holly Marie Combs

Apart from Charmed, Holly Marie Combs also starred in the popular TV series, Pretty Little Liars, and had a few small roles in movies. Recently, in 2019, Combs married restaurateur, Mike Ryan. This is her third marriage.

After Charmed was finished, the AOL web portal named Combs the “third greatest witch in the history of television.” And it seems to be true because she hasn’t really changed in 23 years. Pure magic!

Wyatt Halliwell — Wes Ramsey

In 2003, Wes Ramsey starred in the TV series, Luis, but it wasn’t very successful and was quickly dropped. He also played small roles in series such as The Mentalist, Pretty Little Liars, and Grey’s Anatomy.

Chris Halliwell — Drew Fuller

Drew Fuller’s most prominent role was Lieutenant Trevor LeBlanc in the drama series, Army Wives. He also starred in the independent feature film, The Kane Files: Life of Trial. For this role, he won the San Diego Film Festival Award for Best Actor.

Cole Turner — Julian McMahon

The role of the villain, Cole, made Julian McMahon very popular. He then starred in 2 films of the Fantastic Four franchise as Doctor Doom, in Premonition alongside Sandra Bullock, and Red alongside Bruce Willis. Since 2020, McMahon has also starred in the spin-off of the crime drama, FBI.

Darryl Morris — Dorian Gregory

Dorian Gregory, who played a police officer on Charmed, is now a motivational speaker who talks about Type 1 diabetes and working to raise funds to help find a cure for it. Gregory himself was diagnosed with the disease when he was 9. He also plays alongside his sister, Mercedes, in the musical band called MD Says.

Andy Trudeau — Ted King

After Charmed, Ted King took part in series such as Sex and the City, Prison Break, and Elementary. And in 2021, he joined The Bold and the Beautiful cast. Since 2008, King has gotten married, and now he and his wife, Maya, are raising 2 children.

Penny Halliwell — Jennifer Rhodes

Unlike many of the actors involved in Charmed, Jennifer Rhodes was already known for her work in many movies and TV shows. Later she continued to act and took part in one episode of The Mentalist, and the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation series. Today, Rhodes is divorced and has no children.

Patty Halliwell — Finola Hughes

From 1985 until now, Finola Hughes has starred in the TV series, General Hospital, a large-scale soap opera about the doctors of Port Charles, a small hospital. And in 2013, she made her directing debut with the film, The Bet. In total, she has directed 2 movies so far: the aforementioned The Bet and the romantic comedy, Byrd and the Bees. She and her husband, Russell, raised 3 children together: their son, Dylan Joseph, along with adopted brother and sister Cash Justice and Sadie Beatrice.

Billie Jenkins — Kaley Cuoco

Kaley is probably best known for her role in the TV series, The Big Bang Theory, where she portrayed one of the main characters. Filming lasted from 2007 to 2019 and she received several awards for her role as Penny. In 2017, the actress founded a television production company and currently has dozens of projects and awards under her belt.

Zankou — Oded Fehr

Over the last 23 years, Oded Fehr has participated in many television projects, including How to Get Away With Murder. He also voiced Dr. Fate in the animated series, Justice League. Fehr has been married since 2000, and he and his wife, Rhonda, have 3 children.

Mr. Kellman — Ron Perlman

After 2001, when Ron Perlman appeared in Charmed, he starred in both parts of the comic book adaptation of Hellboy; the TV series, Sons of Anarchy; and the movie Pacific Rim. He also voiced the popular games, Fallout, Halo 2, and Halo 3; along with the cartoons known as Tangled, The Book of Life, and Adventure Time.

James Dean — Eric Dane

After appearing in the second season of the popular series, Grey’s Anatomy, in 2006, viewers loved Eric Dane so much that he got a permanent role there. Until 2012, he was a part of this project. And from 2019 to the present day, he has been starring in the teen series, Euphoria, alongside the young actress, Zendaya. The actor’s filmography also includes roles in movies such as Marley & Me, Valentine’s Day, and X-Men: The Last Stand.

Leo Wyatt — Brian Krause

After Charmed, Brian Krause appeared in several movies and TV series, including the sensational Mad Men. And in March 2021, the first season of the Cypher series began, where Krause plays one of the main roles.
