Portraying a friendship or an adoring couple on screen that will capture viewers’ attention and make them swoon is not an easy task. And the actors who make it possible are not left unseen. Many have been rewarded with a nomination for the MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Duo.

We at Bright Side went through the list of all the winners and nominees and couldn’t believe that more than 20 years have passed since we saw some of these perfectly matched duos on screen. That’s why we decided to make a compilation and see what they look like today.

1. Dana Carvey and Mike Myers — winners, 1992 (Garth Algar and Wayne Campbell — Wayne’s World, 1992)

2. Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone — nominees, 1993 (Det. Nick Curran and Catherine Tramell, Basic Instinct, 1992)

3. Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves — winners, 1995 (Annie and Jack Traven, Speed, 1994)
