“I’m Laser-Focused on Finding a Partner,” The Story of Chris Evans and His Wish to Find His One True Love
We are all looking for love one way or another, because it’s something that cannot be replaced or bought. But when a heartthrob like Chris Evans himself declares he wants to find love, we can’t help but wonder just how easy it might be for him — or perhaps not. Finding someone compatible to live with and spend an entire life with is on Chris’s wish list, and it’s safe to say he deserves it, just like the rest of us do.
We at Bright Side invite you to the chance of a lifetime to be with Chris Evans if your paths cross and destiny makes it happen.
His emotions get the best of him at times.
Chris Evans is undoubtedly an emotional person who has had his share of struggles when it comes to mental health and anxiety — “Emotion gets the best of me sometimes.” Unlike some of the movie characters he portrays, Chris is a very open guy who doesn’t like to bottle up his feelings. “If I let myself open up, tears are never too far away.”
He believes that it’s important to be present, in the moment, and experience everything consciously and proactively. With a mindset like that, it’s no wonder his heart leaves so much space for love.
His relationship with Jessica Biel was the longest.
Starting in 2001, Chris dated the beautiful actress Jessica Biel for 5 years, and throughout their relationship they both knew they wanted to get married and have kids. These 2 even starred in a movie together called Cellular, where they were on-screen lovers as well. Chris said that it was relaxing to perform with her, since they both knew each other well, and it was something that definitely helped their acting.
Not only is Chris a handsome and charming man, but he’s also a romantic at heart. One night, Jessica woke up to her bed covered in rose petals — Chris had sprinkled the petals of at least 24 roses everywhere for her 21st birthday — talk about hopeless romantic!
However, in 2006, they parted ways for personal reasons, but it was never a bad breakup. “It’s rare that someone can truly know you. And if you’ve broken through that kind of wall, I think it’s important to value that.”
Chris moved on to have a couple more flings.
Chris had a couple of flings here and there and even dated his biggest celebrity childhood crush, Sandra Bullock, back in 2014. He was in 7th grade when he saw her in the movie Speed and immediately fell in love: “I used to be in love with Sandra Bullock when I was growing up. Sandy B. was my girl.”
In 2016, he started dating Jenny Slate. They started off as friends, but eventually broke it off in 2017 due to Chris’s fame. Jenny stated that she had more freedom than him because she wasn’t Captain America, and she was “mostly a cartoon. This is what I needed to do to feel normal. To be alone.”
Lizzo slid into Chris’s DMs and he followed her back.
For the most part, Chris kept his next relationships more private than the previous ones. In 2020, he was spotted with Lily James, but she didn’t want to open up about their times together.
He has, however, flirted with Lizzo on social media. She messaged him on Instagram, and then he followed her back, to which fans started to publicly support her boldness.
Now he’s seeking to settle in and find his wifey.
Now, Chris is ready to settle in and find his true soulmate. As a man who pours his all into what he does, his work, and his lifestyle, he wants to put as much effort into his next relationship and keep it forever. There is a lot of “doubt, hesitation, and recalibration” in this industry, and finding that special someone he can spend his life with throughout this journey is what he seeks.
