In fact, even your favorite celebrities are not immune to completely freaking out when they meet their celebrity crushes that they’ve been admiring for years. Their reactions varied a lot, too, from being shocked to uncontrollably crying.

Hamill, of course, did not show up, but the actors finally met when Adam Scott was telling this story on a talk show. Scott said that meeting Hamill “really was one of the best moments of his life.”
2. Cardi B said Lady Gaga changed her life.
In 2016, Cardi B wrote a tweet that reads, “When I was a teenager, Lady Gaga changed my life. She inspired me to be myself & be different.” Two years later, Gaga replied with “Love you girl.” The two of them ended up meeting in real life.
3. Billie Eilish was excited to meet Avril Lavigne.
In 2019, the singer of the popular song “Bad Guy” Billie Eilish met up with the pop punk princess of the 2000s Avril Lavigne. Eilish posted the photo of the two of them on Instagram, and wrote, “Thank you for making me what I am.”

Emma Stone said that she adored the Spice Girls growing up, as they taught her the meaning of girl power. When asked about who her favorite Spice Girl is, the actress named Emma Bunton without any hesitation, however the actress said that she had never met her or any other Spice Girls member before. In 2019 her dream finally came true, and Baby Spice even posted about this interaction on her Instagram.

Adele met Beyoncé for the first time in 2011, and she talked about her experience in the interview, saying that after the meeting she “went out on the balcony crying hysterically” out of nervousness. When Adele won the Grammy for her album 25 over Beyoncé’s album Lemonade, in her speech, she talked about how she voted for Beyoncé and thinks Lemonade deserved the award more.

Sarah Paulson ran into Madonna at a Met Gala, and couldn’t help fangirling right on the red carpet. Later, Madonna shared a picture from the event with Paulson’s priceless expression, and captioned it with “Hahaahhahahhaahahha. Love you Sarah!”

Kelly Clarkson met Meryl Streep on the red carpet of the Golden Globes Awards, and couldn’t contain her excitement. She told the actress that she has been a fan of her since she was 8 years old. Clarkson received a pillow with the moment the two of them met from the interviewer. Later, recalling that moment, the singer said that she was very excited, and she hopes she doesn’t lose this feeling of just being a true fan of people.

In 2013, Brad Pitt visited Selena Gomez’s dressing room to ask her for a picture. Gomez said that she tried to play it cool, but after the actor left, she “hid under the craft service table because she couldn’t believe it was happening.”
