Kind acts can sometimes go terribly wrong, taking unexpected and disastrous turns. When they do, they may impact our perspective on life and our willingness to help others. However, even when faced with unpleasant reactions, we firmly believe that a good-hearted person will continue to spread positivity. About 30 years ago a few friends and I bought a plain pizza pie for lunch, it was all we could afford. We offered a homeless woman a slice, she happily accepted but when she saw it was a plain pizza she got angry, refused the slice, and said she wanted a slice with everything on it, not plain. We were already far from the pizza shop so we just left her.
