Husband Drives 100 Miles Without Wife After Forgetting Her Post-Toilet Break

A husband in Thailand unintentionally left his wife stranded on the side road, driving for 100 miles before realizing his mistake. The story went viral and left people in shock.

Boontom Chaimoon, 55, and his wife Amnuay, 49, were driving to her hometown in the province of Maha Sarakham when they decided to make a stop. While Boontom stepped out to relieve himself, Amnuay also left the car briefly. However, she found the car gone upon her return, leaving her without communication or transportation.

With no money or phone, Amnuay undertook an arduous 13-mile walk, eventually reaching the center of Kabin Buri, where she sought assistance from the local police. Despite their efforts, they couldn’t immediately locate her husband as she didn’t know his contact number by heart. Even though they attempted to call her phone multiple times, Boontom remained unaware of the situation, continuing his journey with the assumption that his wife was asleep in the backseat.

It wasn’t until he had covered a considerable distance that he realized the error. Upon this realization, he promptly turned back to retrieve his wife. The couple, who have been married for 27 years and have a 26-year-old son, were eventually reunited.
