Throughout her career, Jennifer Lopez has inspired many women and mothers, showcasing her ability to pursue her passions while also being a loving and dedicated parent. Her openness about her experiences post-birth and her commitment to her twins have endeared her to fans worldwide. Recently, the actress took the stage to make a new revelation about her life after giving birth to her twins.

She accepted the new version of her body, and she owes it to her personal trainer.

The Monster-in-Law actress took the stage at an event to honor her personal trainer, Tracey Anderson, with the Outstanding Achievement in Fitness award. The 54-year-old star candidly shared how Anderson played a pivotal role in helping her regain confidence in her body after the birth of her twins, Maximilian “Max” David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz, back in 2008.

“I’ve been doing a lot of reflection lately, revisiting the past versions of myself to fully embrace the me of now,” said the iconic artist. “And I’m reminded of how much Tracy has inspired and encouraged me to celebrate every version of my body over the years and to continue to elevate as my own life and needs changed,” she added.

“I met Tracy right after I had my twins. I called her at a time when I was feeling insecure and uncertain, wondering if I would ever get back to how I was before — as most new moms do after giving birth,” the Selena star disclosed while standing at the podium.

With unwavering admiration, Lopez continued to praise the importance of that period in her life, highlighting her trainer’s indispensable role. “She came into my life and helped me embrace the new me and help me to be and to realize that I could be stronger than I ever had before,” she declared.

Balancing career and motherhood is something she’s great at.

Lopez is the mother of Max and Emme, whom she shares with her former husband, Marc Anthony. Earlier this year, the Bronx native candidly discussed how she manages the delicate balance between her career and motherhood now that her twins are 15. Additionally, she spoke about her role as a stepmother to Ben Affleck’s three children—Violet Anne, 17, Seraphina Rose, 13, and Samuel, 11—who he shares with his former wife, Jennifer Garner.

She encourages her twins to follow in her footsteps.

Despite the trials of parenting, she has noted that her children take pride in her achievements. They occasionally follow in their parents’ footsteps, as demonstrated by Emme, who occasionally showcases her vocal talents.

In a behind-the-scenes video on YouTube from 2019, as Lopez prepared for the first live performance of her single Medicine, she shared a moment where Emme began singing Alicia Keys’ 2003 track If I Ain’t Got You. Lopez eventually joined in and even suggested to her daughter that she could join her on tour.

The star expressed her perspective, “How do I say this? I put my best foot forward as much as I can. I’m not one to share my angst. I don’t feel like that’s my life as a performer. You always show the best of you. But I’m a human being like everybody else, and I suffer in silence at times.”

Earlier, Lopez discussed the challenges of parenting teenagers. She remarked, “It’s challenging. You have this baby for a while, and then it’s like, your best little friend who loves being with you all the time, and then all of a sudden, it’s like, ’Get out of my room.’ ”

While Lopez is notably protective of her children, striving to shield their private lives from the public eye, she occasionally brings joy to her fans by sharing heartwarming pictures and curious news of her twins.
