I'm all for wearing what you enjoy. But, imo, a party for your teenage daughter is not the place for a crop top. Sorry ;). Just wear a blouse, nice Tshirt instead.

For example, pair a tailored blazer with your favorite sneakers, or balance a bold piece with something more neutral. This way, you stay true to yourself and respect the occasion.
If your daughter or family refuses to go out with you, calmly say, "I understand you don’t like my style, but it shouldn’t stop us from spending time together.
