Meet the 48-Year-Old Woman With 22 Biological Kids

In a world where the average family size has significantly reduced over the years, this woman gave birth 22 whooping times. At 48, she holds the remarkable distinction of being a mother to 11 boys and 11 girls. And their large family is only getting bigger.

The beginning of a unique journey.

Sue Radford, born on March 22, 1975, embarked on her incredible parenting journey at a young age. She welcomed her first child, Chris, in her teens and later married Noel Radford, her high school sweetheart, who has been her partner in building their extraordinary family.

The couple tied the knot and soon added to their growing family with the arrival of their second child, Sophie. Little did they know that this was just the beginning of their remarkable story.

The family blossomed.

With each passing year, the couple celebrated the arrival of new additions to their loving brood. The Radford family grew to include children, Chris, 34, Sophie, 29, Chloe, 27, Jack, 26, Daniel, 24, Luke, 22, Millie, 21, Katie, 20, James, 19, Ellie, 18, Aimee, 17, Josh, 15, Max, 14, Tillie, 13, Oscar, 11, Casper, 10, Hallie, 8, Phoebe, 6, Archie, 5, Bonnie, 4, and Heidie, 3. Their 17th baby Alfie was stillborn.

Life as a large family.

Living with dozens of children is undoubtedly challenging, but Sue and Noel have created a nurturing and supportive environment for their family. They have emphasized the importance of love, discipline, and strong family values. Despite the sheer size of their family, the Radfords have managed to provide for their children without relying on government benefits.

They own a family-run bakery called Faraday’s and reside in a spacious 10-bedroom home they purchased in 2004. Their eldest children, Chris and Sophie, moved out of the house to live with their families.

Reality TV and future plans.

Thanks to their large family, the Radfords caught media attention and were offered reality shows. The family has over 500k fans on Instagram and are pretty the reality stars. As for more babies, Sue gave birth to her youngest, Heidie, in 2020 and swears her 22nd baby is the last. She has spent over 800 weeks of her life being pregnant.

Sue and Noel’s children, however, are keeping the family going. The couple has 13 grandchildren and is awaiting the arrival of their 14th!
