My personal point of view thinks that being fat are unhealthy. But if you are fat but lead an healthylige style like the article said "going to gym" "eating ok" then it is okay. Being fat lead to a lot more diseases. For example ome of my fat friend have legache often and cannot walk far bacause the Dr. said the leg cannot bear the amount of body weight. Meanwhile there is my fat friend that always active, she also go hiking, gym, and she even know how to love herself by eating healthy. It is just her body are big and look fat. but I personally think she is perhaps healthier than me.

I agree.
I don't have anything against overweight people, because everyone has its own story and situation, maybe someone can't lose weight because of an illness, or other condition.
But there are people who refuse eating unhealthy food and take up some sports. Such plus-size models are a simple propaganda of an unhealthy life style..

"The beauty industry still hasn’t recognized that these types of girls can be confident and look great and tempting."
I'm sorry, guys, but how can unhealthy body look great? People spend hours at the gym, working on their body, it's a COLOSSAL effort to look this way, and many people now try to shame it, and find it offensive.
Propaganda of healthy lifestyle IS GREAT.

So, basically, if I understood everything correct, these women lead healthy lifestyle, but maintain their bodies "fat" and big, to 'break beauty stereotypes' (or just earn money on the hype)?
They just feed us with false information then. Girls and boys will look at them on the popular magazines and think: "ah, being fat is just normal, I won't do anything about it, I'm happy with myself", while those models go to the gym and eat their salads
Double standards, huh?

Well, it's all this body positivity movement. What started as something nice, became to this.
And they have to support it.
