Everyone who has ever tried growing something in the garden knows how hard this task is. And the worst part is that the harvest might end up being bad. You can spend months on tomatoes and eggplants, fertilizing them, watering them, and you just get a few tiny veggies!
We at Bright Side know what it’s like to fail at gardening. This is why we are especially proud of people that found enough courage to laugh at themselves.
“I planted watermelon seeds in May... Totally forgot about them. This is what I harvested in October. I’m shocked!”
“My mom took me to the garden and showed me her amazing harvest.”
“I think I overestimated the harvest basket size I needed.”
“My first cantaloupe is softball-sized.”
“In 6 months, I was able to turn one clove of garlic into one clove of garlic with a stem.”
“Should I boil, steam or roast it?”
“Ordered pumpkin seeds online and spent a fortune on fertilizers. And all of that was for this.”
“Wanted to build up an appetite before I cut into it.”
“Tonight we feast on potatoes!”
“Our little lemon tree tried so hard this year!”
“I’ve lost 3 plants out of 4, but this giant broccoli was worth it.”
“I tried to grow potatoes. This is what I got 10 weeks later.”
“Lesson learned: carrots don’t like pots. This bad boy was in the ground for 6 months.”
“My first tomato may have been small but everyone liked the burgers with it.”
“I call my tomatoes zombies because they look ugly.”
“Just look at them: they are tiny and have no seeds!”
“Why spend $5 for a punnet of blueberries at the supermarket when you can spend $50+ on growing it yourself?”
