10+ Times Our Favorite Actors Happily Reunited After Spending Decades Apart
If a picture can speak 1,000 words, 2 pictures should speak at least 2,000. 2 side-by-side photos can encompass years, if not decades, of memories. While most of us get just a couple of reunions — like from high school and college — actors are luckier in this sense, as every movie cast they work with turns into an opportunity for them to later rejoice.
Seeing someone again after many years fills us with nostalgia, and on this note, Bright Side went on to dig up the most iconic get-togethers of all time.
The Malfoys of Harry Potter
Jason Isaacs and Tom Felton, also known as Lucius and Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter films, have reunited at one of Felton’s theatre shows. Both of them shared the sweet moment on social media. And even if they aren’t related in real life, they called each other “my father” and “my son,” throwing us right back into the Potter realm.
15 years after the teen drama, Gossip Girl, originally premiered, Penn Badgley and Leighton Meester have crossed roads once again. The actor who played the role of Dan Humphrey invited his ex-co-star as a guest on his new podcast, Podcrushed.
The X-Files premiered almost 30 years ago, and former co-stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny reunited in April 2021. The 2 were joined by Anderson’s furry friend, Stella, who approved of the reunion and, according to the actress, “made a new friend today.”
When Sonny Koufax (Adam Sandler) wanted to impress his girlfriend and adopted a kid, Julian (played by twins Cole and Dylan Sprouse), he didn’t know where this adventure would take him. More than 20 years after the comedy Big Daddy was released, Sprouse and Sandler met again, sharing the moment with Sandler’s wife, Jackie, singer King Princess, and actor David Spade.
3rd Rock From the Sun
In honor of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the show, 3rd Rock From the Sun, John Lithgow, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kristen Johnston, and French Stewart sat down for a discussion at a pop-culture festival. The cast gushed over one another, praised each other’s work, and shared their favorite moments from the series.
Back to the Future
Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd), also known as the Back to the Future stars, proved that while they had a time-traveling DeLorean in 1985 when the film premiered, they still own one today. With one photograph, they got us traveling all the way to the past and then back to the current day.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch
An iconic series of the ’90s, the TV show, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, ran from 1996 until 2003. 17 years after the last episode aired, 100 cast and crew members got together for an unforgettable night.
The fan-favorite couple from the series, The O.C., played by Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody, ran into each other at the airport. Although they were together both on and off-screen back when they worked on the show, today both of them are now in relationships with other people and are parents.
13 years after ER’s last episode aired, John Stamos got a surprise visit from his cast members. The actor admitted he kept all props from the show, which is how they took the picture behind the glass window of County General Hospital.
The award-winning spy drama, Alias, ran for the better part of 5 years at the beginning of the 2000s and starred Jennifer Garner as Sydney, a college student recruited for espionage. According to the actress, the remade photograph is the only one of her and her on-screen dad, Victor Garber, where the 2 aren’t laughing.
20+ years after the movie Titanic hit the iceberg — or rather, the silver screen — and became a classic in households all around the world, the film’s stars, Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Billy Zane all met up again.
Indiana Jones, played by Harrison Ford, and Short Round, played by Ke Huy Quan, starred together in the film series, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, almost 40 years ago. In 2022, the actors met again, shared an electrifying hug, and were all smiles and giggles; the reunion had fans going wild over the special occasion.
