study found that two-thirds of working women feel under pressure to look young. And although we can’t deny that anti-aging procedures are still very popular, a lot of women are increasingly understanding that beauty isn’t limited to an age group. And by choosing not to erase their wrinkles or dye their gray hair, some celebrities are proudly displaying their age and proving to the world how appealing maturity really is.

Bright Side believes that in order to look pretty, we first need to feel it, regardless of our age. And we want to share the fascinating opinions of 10 stars who won’t let a number define their beauty.

1. Sharon Stone

The 64-year-old actress is feeling comfortable in her skin now more than ever. She believes that age gives women a certain maturity and power, which makes them all the more appealing. She has admitted, ’’Women are more beautiful than girls because they know something.’’

2. Jennifer Aniston

The 53-year-old actress is a big advocate for self-care, wellness, and nutrition. She believes that we can age while keeping our good health and not getting sick. She said, ’’We don’t have to grow old and not be thriving.’’ Aniston added that we should be breaking society’s views on aging, admitting, ’’Society has put these expiration dates on ourselves, so we need to change that.’’

3. Christy Turlington

The 53-year-old model who had once been described as “the most beautiful woman in the world” has no fear of getting older. She said, “Everybody is so anti-aging, but I don’t want to look younger than I am. Our face is a map of our life; the more that’s there, the better.”

4. Sarah Jessica Parker

The 57-year-old Sex and the City actress doesn’t allow gray hair to bother her. On the contrary, she is a firm believer that society should let women embrace the change of color just like men do. She wonders, ’’I’m sitting with Andy Cohen, and he has a full head of gray hair, and he’s exquisite. Why is it okay for him?’’

5. Salma Hayek

The 55-year-old actress puts her comfort above anything else. She revealed that her hair’s color is natural and that she keeps her natural white hair. She explained her choice, saying, “I don’t have the patience to sit through it. I don’t want to spend what’s left of my youth pretending I’m younger and then not enjoying life.”

6. Helen Mirren

The 76-year-old actress is looking at the bright side of aging and loving every minute of it. She admitted, “As you reach each age you find, like a miracle, you’ve got the tools to deal with it. So your body gets older, but your mind gets better.” She added, “To be obsessed with your looks is pathetic.”

7. Jada Pinkett Smith

The actress who has entered her fifth decade of life is feeling the best she ever has. She noted, “There’s a certain freedom that comes with that, [which] you really don’t have when you’re young. With age comes a lot of wisdom, and I’m happier now than I have ever been, so it’s good.”

8. Drew Barrymore

The 47-year-old actress and talk show host has 2 young daughters, and she is determined to set the best example for them. She believes the age is a blessing rather than a curse. She has noted,
“I’m now determined more than ever to show my daughters that aging is a luxury. If we’re lucky, we are all going to age. I just want them to be at peace with who they are and not what they look like.”

9. Julianne Moore

The actress who has turned 61 confessed her dislike for the idea of ’’aging gracefully.’’ She believes that aging is a natural process, and we should accept it as it is. She wondered, ’’There’s so much judgment inherent in the term ’aging gracefully,’ is there an ungraceful way to age?’’ She then added, ’’It’s part of the human condition, so why are we always talking about it as if it is something that we have control over?"

10. Andie Macdowell

The 63-year-old actress and model is a firm believer that we can remain attractive at any stage of our life. She confessed, “I really don’t feel like I’m losing my beauty, it’s just a different kind of beauty. We evolve and we age, and this is part of the process. Aging is not about losing your beauty.”

What’s your take on aging? Do you agree that beauty comes from within, and that sometimes maturity and wisdom can make us even more attractive?
