Many people will ask why there are so many British actors portraying roles in American movies. The most correct answer would be that many of them have a theatrical background and have gotten more acting training than American actors. This is why casting directors hire them and give them the opportunity to work on their accents as well. But they are so good at getting rid of their accents, they often make us believe they are really American.
