I have two daughters, one is from my husband’s first marriage. I was having a dinner date with my girls and noticed that my stepdaughter kept looking at her phone. I told her that whoever it is, if it’s urgent, she can excuse herself. She said it was her Dad, so she went out to call him.
The next day, when I was cleaning the house, I saw her phone open and was about to call her when I noticed the messages that were left open. I was speechless when I found out that it was her convo with her Dad, who was with his ex-wife that night. So he was cheating with his ex-wife for the past year, and my stepdaughter was in cahoots with all of this.
She needed a new phone, so I put it in my name, since I was working. 2 hours after leaving the store and having lunch with me joking about how excited she was to get married, I found a photoreel full of pictures she had been exchanging with her ex whilst transferring her stuff to her new phone. My cat slipped out one night and didn’t come back for two days. I asked my neighbor if I could check their security cam since it faces the street. They said, “Sure.”
While scrubbing through the footage, I saw my boyfriend step outside around 11 PM. I was already asleep. He was shaking a bag of treats, calling for my cat. It actually made me smile.
But then, he looked around, crossed the street, and to my shock, he walked into our neighbor’s house. He didn’t knock. Didn’t text. Just walked in like it was normal. He was there for over an hour.
I confronted him, and he admitted it. I dumped him, but I found my cat the next morning, though.

My wife tried calling and didn’t hang up once it went to voicemail. She accidentally left a 2:45 VM. The VM consisted of her and her BF talking badly about me and how much happier she was with him.

My first day at a new job, my manager was training me on the till, and a customer came up to pay. I knew the customer, and he proceeded to ask how I am, I said good, and he said, ‘I’m glad you’re keeping okay after everything’ and I said, ‘everything?’
And he said, ‘Well after the break-up, I was shocked to be honest, but I guess everything happens for a reason.’ I told him he was mistaken, as we were still very much together. Confused, he asked if we had taken a break or something.

I counted the pictures. This was in 2000, before everyone had a camera on their phone, and you had to get your holiday snaps developed at the Walgreens photo lab. She brought home the pictures of her vacation to see her “old high school friend” in Vegas, but there was something missing.
See, back in the day, the rolls of film were made up of exposures of 12, 24, 36 pics, etc., depending on the film you bought. I went through the photos, and it didn’t add up. Literally. I worked for a phone company and had access to the billing system, so I could look up any client and see incoming/outgoing calls. One weekend, a colleague and I decided to look up people we know. There were about 12 hours of talk time per week, back and forth between this one number and my BF. Did a reverse search, found out it was a landline in the chick’s dad’s name. Researched the dude and found he had 2 daughters, so obviously thought it was the older of the 2 because she was our age (27 at the time). A friend of mine would let her boyfriend use her car, as he was jobless and couldn’t afford one. He’s borrowed it one day to go help his dad take some stuff to the tip, and she’s caught the bus into town. As she’s on the bus, she looks out the window and sees her car driving past her the other way.
Only her boyfriend isn’t driving, he isn’t even in the car; it’s a woman driving it. She instantly rings her boyfriend, who doesn’t answer, so she rings the police and reports her car stolen and says she’s just seen it driving past her.
