Elon Musk, the visionary entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has once again ignited controversy with his latest unveiling — a Clothing-Folding Robot. Musk, known for pushing the boundaries of innovation, showcased this robotic creation, sparking a whirlwind of mixed reactions.

The first human-robot kiss is out.

Tesla first unveiled the humanoid robot in 2022. Initially captured by artist Pablo Guerrero, the pictures have gained viral attention after being shared by Twitter user Daniel Marven. They depict Elon Musk engaging in affectionate gestures with four distinct female robots. The timing of these images coincides with the release of footage showcasing Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, taking its first steps, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the situation.

While the images have generated considerable buzz online, it is important to note that appearances can be deceiving. The context surrounding these peculiar snapshots suggests that there might be more to the story than meets the eye. It’s uncertain whether these interactions are a result of genuine romantic involvement or part of a larger marketing or artistic campaign.

AI is going viral and gaining traction. And people have questions.

Daniel Marven, a Twitter user, recently tweeted about Elon Musk announcing his future wife, who happens to be the first robot specifically designed with artificial intelligence to possess the personality and characteristics Elon Musk dreams of. These images, which have gone viral, were created using Artificial Intelligence.

In the same tweet, Marven expressed that the purpose of the post was to shed light on the potential dangers of artificial intelligence, particularly in light of Tesla’s release of the integrated robot called ’Optimus.’

Twitter users have been quick to react to these unusual AI-generated images of Musk, sparking a flurry of amusing comments and speculation. One person humorously quipped, “Well well well... what have we here?”

Unveiling a Clothing-Folding Robot.

Recently Elon Musk shared a new video of the company’s Optimus robot on the X platform, which has sparked curiosity among online spectators, as they grapple with the mystery behind the company’s robot effortlessly folding a shirt.

In this brief footage shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Tesla Optimus robot takes center stage, standing by a table and skillfully folding a black shirt autonomously, devoid of any external assistance. Elon Musk accompanied the video with a simple caption, “Optimus folds a shirt,” leaving viewers intrigued by the seemingly seamless and autonomous folding prowess of the robotic creation.

However, approximately half an hour after unveiling the latest video, Elon Musk, posted an “important note” beneath the post, disclosing that the showcased footage was not entirely representative of reality.

He said: “Optimus cannot yet do this autonomously, but certainly will be able to do this fully autonomously and in an arbitrary environment (won’t require a fixed table with a box with only one shirt)”.

The video stirs mixed reactions among Internet users.

This revelation prompted inquiries from users on X and the rival platform Threads, questioning the authenticity of the video if the robot’s feat was not achieved in a “fully autonomous” manner.

One skeptical user said, “This is a video, not CG?” casting doubt on whether the footage was computer-generated.

Keen-eyed observers also highlighted the presence of a gloved hand briefly making appearances within and outside the frame of the video, seemingly mirroring the movements of the robot’s hands.

A user on Threads speculated, “It’s just operated remotely, not autonomous. Basically, the exact same way remote surgical ‘robots’ have worked for decades.”

Others were happy with this creation. One user wrote: “This is fantastic!!! This is not perfect, but way better than I thought was possible already today!

“Is he available to come do my laundry lol?” a second said.

Details regarding the pricing and release date of Optimus remain undisclosed, though Elon Musk has previously hinted that the robot’s cost might fall below $20,000. During the 2022 Tesla AI Day, Musk suggested that deliveries of the robot could potentially transpire within the next 3 to 5 years.
