She Uses a Fork to Tighten Her Skin, Plus Other Secrets Behind Madonna’s Youthful Glow
A good skincare routine and a healthy diet can do wonders for you, but many celebrities who are in their fifties or sixties seem to actually be aging backward. Madonna is a great example of this, as the pop star who is currently 64 years old is also in the best shape of her life. Intrigued by the pop icon’s timeless beauty, we tried to find out her anti-aging secrets, and some of them are simpler than we could have ever imagined.
The fork facial
In an Instagram post she shared back in 2018, Madonna is seen getting a facial from her aesthetician. And the tools used look very much like 2 large-sized forks. “It’s amazing, look at this little facial happening with a fork. Forks are really good, they tighten the skin,” the pop icon says in the video.
Having hydrated skin is key.
According to Madonna’s current facialist, Edyta Jarosz, hydration is very important if you want to achieve a plump, smooth complexion just like the singer’s. She recommends including a vitamin C serum in your daily routine, as well as the Asian skincare technique of layering products. When you have an extensive list of products you like to use, the order is important. Jarosz recommends going from the lightest to the thickest texture so that your skin can absorb all the nutrients.
Her diet plays a huge role.
Madonna is also mindful of what she puts in her body. Although she can sometimes be seen on Instagram eating pasta or ice cream, usually, the pop diva prefers a specific diet. It’s called the macrobiotic diet, and it’s made up of veggies like kale, broccoli, carrots, nuts, beans, and also plenty of fish. Madonna doesn’t usually eat meat or dairy, but she likes to drink ginger tea and coconut water.
Staying in good physical shape is also one of her priorities.
A few years ago, the singer also opened up about her workout routine and the kind of exercise she prefers. “I wasn’t born with Gisele Bündchen’s body. So you gotta work for it,” she said.
Madonna loves combining different types of exercises, like Pilates, dancing, aerobics, and interval training. She also likes to include Ashtanga yoga in her routine. “Ashtanga is much more physical than other types of yoga. It’s kind of like dancing,” described Madonna.
But feeling young is the most important factor.
You can’t really look youthful on the outside if you’re not feeling young on the inside. Over the past decades, Madonna has been constantly asked about aging in interviews, and she always has a great answer.
“I think you think about growing old too much. I think you think about age too much. I think you should just stop thinking about it,” she once told an interviewer that kept bugging her with questions. “Stop thinking, just live your life, and don’t be influenced by society trying to make you feel some type of way about your age or what it is you’re supposed to be doing,” Madonna advises.
Are you going to try out any of these skincare and lifestyle tips? What’s your approach to getting older?

I agree Maria! I want to see her smile. Its natural to have lines on your face especially while smiling. She doesn't look like an aging Madonna. She looks sculpted.
She's a terrifying thing to behold. With so much money at her disposal she has chased away the outward appearance of aging with plastic surgery; giving lifestyle and skincare tips is basically her selling a lie about herself to morons. The rest of us pleabs will just age like the real life women we are and she can go sleep in a tube or something. Does anyone else remember when Brightside used to be good news stories that didn't shame people for being human?
