Throughout his career, Tom Holland has amassed an impressive portfolio of over 30 movies, TV shows, and theater productions. Many of these performances have garnered immense praise. But despite the multitude of remarkable roles he has undertaken, there is one specific performance that seems to overshadow them all, despite its short duration of just more than two minutes.

The actor gets the most compliments for his performance on Lip Sync Battle.

During a recent interview, Tom Holland, known for his role as Spider-Man, disclosed an intriguing revelation. Despite his appearances in blockbuster Marvel films and acclaimed dramas, it’s his unexpected performance on Lip Sync Battle that garners the most praise.

“It is an interesting one,” shared the 27-year-old British actor. “Because I’ve really worked hard in my career, and I’ve really been calculated in deciding what it is I do and when I do it. And of all the movies that I’m incredibly proud of, the Lip Sync Battle is what I get the most compliments for.”

Despite his immense career, he is proud of it.

Holland participated in the music competition series in 2017 alongside his Spider-Man costar Zendaya. While Zendaya performed “Tyrone” and “24k Magic,” Holland took the stage and delivered a mesmerizing performance. He began with an energetic rendition of “Singin’ in the Rain” and smoothly transitioned into “Umbrella.” Dressed in bustier and fishnet stockings, Holland showcased his dance skills with expert thrusts to the beat and even executed a flawless flip, displaying his dance prowess.

Reflecting on that remarkable moment, Holland expressed his pride, stating, “I’m proud of it. I like that it left a lasting impact. It was an amazing time. My life was changing before my eyes. Spider-Man was coming out. I was on the up. I was getting offers and turning them down for the first time, which was really crazy... I was finally at that stage where I could say, ’Can I bring my friends?’ And they’d say, ’Yeah.’”

The actor has grown up in the most non-toxic-masculine environment.

Holland didn’t have any intention of making a statement on toxic masculinity when he wore the ensemble. He shared that a costume designer had put the outfit together, and he didn’t think twice about it. He stated, “I’ve grown up in the most non-toxic-masculine environment possible. I didn’t realize what I was doing was so forward-thinking. I was just like, ’I’ll put some fishnets on and dance in the rain. That’ll be really fun. I don’t care.’”

However, Holland acknowledged that he wouldn’t engage in such an act now. He explained, “You’d never catch me doing that now. Just because I don’t want to do a TV show that I don’t need to do. I’d rather go and play golf and live my little private life.”

Tom Holland and Zendaya support each other not only on the shows but in real life. Recently the couple sparked engagement rumors, although they haven’t confirmed them officially yet. But we, as fans, look forward to hearing the happy announcement very soon!
