We recognize fairy tale princesses for their gentle personalities, nobility, and their perfectly slim bodies. But what if, for some reason, these delicate women were a few pounds heavier? How would they have looked? Well, we were determined to find out and imagined them with somewhat more pronounced curves, and the result was not only interesting but very refreshing.

At Bright Side, we’re committed to filling your life with inspiration and creation, so we thought we’d introduce you to 18 new versions of these princesses that we hope you’ll find just as refreshing and liberating as we did.

They're 'plus sized,' just not 'obese.' They're also not 'Queens,' wrong to promote unhealthy eating habits and try to normalize it. There are girls who can't gain weight and they're not glorified, why do the obese get to be glorified?

Plus size eh?? You obviously still have a problem with image.... that ISN'T plus size. They are more curvy, but still in good shape. Us plus size girls ARE NOT PETITE. Stupid page

No, YOU have a problem with image. "Plus size" is NOT "obese." This feed portrays princesses that are 'regular' unhealthy, not Southern US unhealthy.

Oops. We didn't mean to delete it. It just happened.

Why are we promoting unhealthy eating habits/disorders and calling them "queens?" What about the girls who can't get above 100lb and are scrawny like Meg is portrayed? Disney princesses are CARTOONS that are portrayed like they don't take in over 2k calories every meal. What about the princes? They don't even have NIPPLES!! All Ken dolls!!

These illustrations show the characters at a normal size, nowhere near a plus size! shame on the artist and you Bright Ideas for labeling this as plus size queens! These are the sizes of regular size beauties, plus size beauties have more curves... but every woman, regardless of her size is a QUEEN!

These are definitely not “plus sized.” Now these look like average-sized women! Please consider re-naming this piece as it perpetuates the problem of body dysmorphia and societal expectations of women’s’ appearance. Girls should not be taught to think that these are true illustrations of “plus size.”

You can't hide three things: the Sun, the Moon and the truth. But you sure can hide a comment.

Rapunzel looks... well... I didn't expect that look though!!!!! It's even weirder than what I thought.
