A Mom Shares Pics of Her Boy Online, and People Are Begging Her to Stop

In these modern times, social media has become a magical tool that we all use to stay in touch, sharing pictures of our daily lives and of our little ones. But, in the case of this young mom, sharing photos of her beloved son has become something different, and she is determined to talk about it.

Natasha is a young woman bravely venturing into the beautiful journey of motherhood. Like many proud moms, she loves sharing photos and videos of her adored 1-year-old son Raedyn on social media.

However, what makes her unique is the way she handles the cruel comments and online criticism due to her son’s appearance. Natasha stands her ground and responds to the haters, “I will not give up... My son’s unique appearance does not define his worth, he is simply perfect.”

Little Raedyn was born with Pfeiffer syndrome, which is a condition that can affect his skull, face, and limbs. But to Natasha, her son is a perfect treasure and that’s why she lovingly shares pictures of him whenever she can.

Unfortunately, the cruelty of online trolls isn’t the only thing she has to endure. Natasha has also had to deal with insensitive comments in real life. She said that, in public, people sometimes come up with inappropriate questions like, “Why does your child look like that?” To her, this is not the proper way to treat someone.

The young mother confesses that this can be exhausting, especially when she is in public. She finds it hard to understand why people are so obsessed with her son’s appearance. Again and again, she explains, “He lives a life like every other child. He may look different, but that doesn’t make him any less deserving of love and acceptance.”

She added with determination, “My son deserves a life filled with joy and affection, and I will not stop fighting for it.” For her, it is important for everyone to understand that she is a mom and her son is her baby, so they are a family like any other. “I hope the day will come when the world will learn to accept people with disabilities, without judging them by their appearance.”

He looks very happy. I hope she teaches him strategies to deal with cruel people when he's on his own.

I wholeheartedly agree. His smile is magical, he looks very happy, and he seems loved. Those are the things that matter most aside from that his medical needs are under control. I hope that mom has some kind of a good support system for her to have a time to recharge and provide self care. I wish them the very best in life and unlimited amounts of happiness.
