It's fantastic that she had such blockages twice and is doing great now after surgery. She does look fabulous for a 75 year old woman and I wish her continued success on her journey.
At 76, Susan Lucci Looks Breathtakingly Youthful Despite Surviving 2 Heart Surgeries

Soap opera queen and All My Children star Susan Lucci makes us rub our eyes in disbelief with her spectacular physique at 76 years old. Her appearance is even more impressive when you learn about all the health issues the actress has bravely overcome. Let’s learn more about the unbreakable Susan Lucci and her secrets to eternal youth.
Susan is known as “Daytime’s Leading Lady” on television.
Aside from All My Children, Lucci also appeared on numerous shows and movies and even participated in season 7 of Dancing with the Stars, which aired in 2008. And at 62 years of age at the time, Susan danced all the way up to week 7. Needless to say, Lucci has been an unstoppable force for decades, until she was forced to start taking it easy.
She came way too close to a fatal heart attack.
In 2018, Lucci started experiencing concerning symptoms like shortness of breath and intense chest pressure. At first, she didn’t think much of it: “I would hear that heart disease is the number one killer of women, but that went in one ear and out the other. But now I get it. And like most women I thought, ’I have too much to do. It will go away.’ I didn’t want to bother the cardiologist.”
In addition, Susan has always led a healthy lifestyle, so even her doctor doubted there was anything serious going on with her: “Even my cardiologist said that to look at me, you’d never think I was a heart patient.” But after some tests, they discovered a 90% blockage in the main artery of her heart, which required immediate surgery. The procedure went well, and Lucci carried on with her life.

Fast-forward to 2022, the actress once again started experiencing familiar unsettling symptoms. This time, the heart scan revealed 80% blockage, which prompted a second surgery. Lucci commented on her health scares: “I didn’t realize how close I came to a fatal heart attack.” Since then, she hasn’t cared about anything but her well-being.
Her priority now is her health, and it shows.

Lucci recently made a stunning red carpet appearance at the 2023 Writers Guild Awards and blew everyone away with her gorgeous figure. Even after 2 serious heart procedures, the soap opera star shines like a new diamond.
She was also asked about how she was doing after last year’s surgery, and Susan assured everyone that she’s on top of her health: “I’m doing really well. I always keep an eye on myself, and what’s going on.”
As for Lucci’s spectacular physique, she makes sure to keep her body moving and works out 6 days a week. She says: “I try to take one day off, because you’re supposed to take a day off. But I’ll always do something, because I find my body craves it.”

In addition, she keeps herself accountable by making sure she gets a workout in before her day begins: “I like to work out first thing in the morning. Because then I know, no matter what happens for the rest of the day, I’ve done something good for myself.”
