Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, 2 famous tech billionaires, have reportedly reached an agreement to engage in a cage match. The proposition emerged as the result of a recent disagreement between the 2 prominent rivals, with Musk directly challenging Zuckerberg to face him in this unique contest.

Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are both passionate martial arts lovers.

Elon Musk, the renowned entrepreneur behind SpaceX and Tesla, cultivated his martial arts skills during his childhood by engaging in various disciplines like Taekwondo, Kyokushin Karate, and Judo. Musk also revealed his involvement in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Furthermore, it has come to light that Musk was also observed participating in Sumo wrestling not too long ago.

On the other hand, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s interest in martial arts is more recent, and it’s well-known that he has been training hard in the past few years.

Recently, Musk jokingly challenged Zuckerberg to a fight.

The rivalry between the 2 tech giants has been public knowledge for a while, and Musk often uses Twitter to poke fun at Meta-owned companies. While Zuckerberg’s criticism of Musk has been more subdued, he did find fault with the Tesla founder’s prediction about the future of AI. He also criticized SpaceX’s launch failure.

A few days ago, Meta, Zuckerberg’s company that owns several social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, announced that it had started working on a platform that would compete with Musk-owned Twitter. This seems to be the root of the old rivals new disagreement.

Reacting to the news, Elon Musk wrote on Twitter that the new platform would put the world “exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options.” And soon after, another Twitter user warned Musk that Mark Zuckerberg “does Jiu Jitsu now.” Which, it seems, was the perfect opportunity for Musk to challenge Zuckerberg to fight him.

Musk probably didn’t expect that the jiu-jitsu champion would accept his challenge.

It turns out the Facebook founder is not one to be scared of a dare, and after being taunted by Musk, he quickly replied. “Send me the location,” was Zuckerberg’s short and matter-of-fact response.

It turns out Musk wants to fight Zuckerberg at the Vegas Octagon, where UFC fights are held. He also hinted at the special move he knows called The Walrus. “I have this great move that I call ’The Walrus,’ where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing.”

Although the timing of the big match is yet to be announced, it’s clear that Elon Musk has a worthy opponent in the form of Mark Zuckerberg. Not only has he been passionately training in martial arts for the past couple years, but Zuckerberg has also earned several medals in jiu-jitsu.
