As life is full of challenges and setbacks, we have to constantly remind ourselves that they are often temporary. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed or discouraged at times, but it’s crucial to keep pushing forward. It’s also important to recognize that accepting help from those close to us is not a sign of weakness, but rather, a necessary step toward healing.

Pink’s experience serves as a great reminder of these important truths, and her willingness to share her struggles and accept help is a testament to her strength and courage that we can all learn from.

Pink has shared details about her recent surgery and weight gain. The 43-year-old singer referred to herself as a “bionic woman” after undergoing a double disc replacement in a neck and hip surgery.

Pink mentioned that this is what caused her to gain 36 pounds as she spent most of her time at home making sourdough bread and then eating it. However, she has since shed the extra weight and feels like she’s back in shape. “I am stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. And I’m ready to go, and I’m ready to get out of here,” the star revealed.

Back in November 2021, Pink shared an emotional Instagram post detailing her “brutal” recovery from hip surgery, expressing gratitude to the medical team who cared for her. “Hey, world! This is what 9 hours of sleep and cuddles from my kiddos looks like 7 days post hip surgery!!” she captioned the picture.

Pink also expressed her gratitude toward her husband, motocross star Carey Hart, for supporting her during the most challenging phase of her recovery. She praised him for being by her side through the tears, pain, and depression that came with the initial stages of recovery. According to Pink, Hart’s efforts were instrumental in helping her get through the ordeal.

She credited him with bringing her coffee, carrying her medical equipment, cooking for her, keeping track of her medications, and comforting her during her lowest moments. Pink went on to say that Hart was a constant source of support, taking care of every little thing, and being there to talk her through the tough times.

Furthermore, the “Lady Marmalade” singer acknowledged that her painful experience had taught her an important lesson about accepting help. She shared that she realized it was perfectly fine to ask for assistance and emphasized the importance of having a support system in times of need. “I’m learning the gift of accepting help.” And she went on, adding, “Life always reminds you that most setbacks are actually just pauses and opportunities to recalibrate and count your blessings.”
