Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, a Unique Love Story That Overcame All Obstacles

There are some types of love that don’t care about distance, age, and cultural differences, and that are able to admirably overcome obstacles. Real love, despite going through difficulties and encountering impediments, can overcome everything and come out stronger. Nobody said that love was easy, but it seems that fate plays a role in some relationships, and that was the case of singer Nick Jonas and model Priyanka Chopra.

Priyanka Chopra was born in 1982 in India and has become a popular model, actress, and singer. After going through complicated adolescence and receiving criticism when she moved to the United States with her aunt, this young woman’s self-esteem was affected. But even so, life and destiny had their own plans. At the age of 18, after returning to India, Priyanka became Miss India and Miss World.

10 years later, in 1992, Nick Jonas was born. He proved he had a great musical talent from an early age. Nick was always very close to his parents and brothers, with whom he formed a musical group that was very successful in the music scene, the Jonas Brothers.

In 2016, it was Nick who dared to write to the model on Twitter to tell her that “several friends have told me that we should meet. What do you think about that?” The singer’s initiative seemed to work, as they spent no less than 6 months messaging each other.

A little later, in 2017, they ran into each other at a party, and, amazed by Chopra’s beauty, Nick dared to say, “You’re real, where have you been all my life?”

But as strange as it may seem, their relationship did not begin at that party, but shortly after, when they ran into each other again at the movies. They were both going to Beauty and the Beast with a group of friends. Just 3 dates and a year later, Jonas proposed to the model, announcing their engagement with the above photo.

“I got down on one knee again and said, ’Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?’ It took about 45 seconds. 45 seconds of silence.” Nick must have been sweating by now as he waited for the response, so he added, “Now I’m going to put this ring on your finger unless you have any objections.”

Factors, such as their age difference, distance, their jobs, and their very different cultures, could have been an endpoint for their relationship, but for them, there was no barrier that could keep them apart.

Those differences did not get in the way, and it seems that both were very clear about what they felt for each other and that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

The couple set out not to miss any of their cultural traditions, so they decided to organize 2 weddings in style so that together they would make the perfect combination of their cultures.

It consisted of 4 days of ceremonies and festivities to celebrate the love of Nick and Priyanka, who admitted, “Walking out and seeing him standing at the altar for the first time, with the sun behind him, was something out of a fairy tale for me.”

They made it. They overcame any difficulties that were in their way and are now a happily married couple who have grown a family with their beloved, furry canines.

There have been many rumors about a possible breakup, however, Nick and Priyanka continue to show their unconditional love for each other on social media and express their will to share a life together.
