Jeff Goldblum Met His Third Wife When He Was 59, Proving That It’s Possible to Build a Lovely Family at Any Age

Jeff Goldblum and his wife, Emilie Livingston, have a 31-year age gap. While his current marriage might draw some attention due to their difference in age, Goldblum and Livingston were very mindful of their decision to get married. So grab a cup of coffee, and let’s find out more about this celebrity couple.

They shared a special bond from the very beginning.

Livingston and Goldblum bonded over their shared passion for fitness. She is a former rhythmic gymnast who competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics. At the beginning of their relationship, Livingston said, “I wondered if this feeling could be true because I hadn’t experienced such innocent, passionate, tender, honest love before so quickly.”

The couple took their time before deciding to tie the knot.

Jeff Goldblum wed his dearest Emilie Livingston back in 2014, having previously been married to Geena Davis in 1987 and actress Patricia Gaul in 1980. They reportedly worked with a therapist before they were married to make sure it was the best decision for both of them.

Offering advice to other women in similar situations, Livingston encourages all women out there to “stay true to themselves and have fun, but when it stops being fun, be honest with yourself and your mate and be open to discussions that may be uncomfortable at first, but worth releasing in a calm and safe environment.”

They have 2 beautiful kids together.

After getting engaged and married in 2014, Goldblum and Livingston decided to expand their family. The actor became a father for the first time at the age of 62. Their first child, a son, was born on July 4, 2015. Their second son was born on April 7, 2017.

The Emmy-nominee, Goldblum, has since been very open about becoming a dad later in life, revealing that he has no regrets. “I’ve hardly taught them anything, and they have taught me everything,” Goldblum told Closer of his boys.

Speaking of decisions, Goldblum told the British outlet, iNews, “I’m glad I waited. It feels great to do it right now because all the things I’m considering are perfectly suited to the big questions and challenges of having kids and what you want to expose them to.”

What’s the age gap between you and your partner? Does it cause any difficulties in your daily life?
