I've lost many of pets through all my years of living, It never gets easy, has to be the hardest thing to do when the time comes, I have one now and I'm dreading the day when it comes, as much as I may hate this dog, I don't want to lose him. He and I are too much alike.

i had our vet come to our house and dog missy...she had been unwell and was 15years old ,it was her time to go,the vet was amazing explained everything to me,,,,i got to say goodbye and hold her paw while she was given her needles...oh her bed,,,in her fave spot in sun,,,,,i had her jacket on her ,,,it was winter,,,,,later that day my hubby came homw and we buried her in the back yard,,,,we have lived here for 33 years and have no reason to move so it was the right place for her,,,,,,,,,,,we put her under the frangipani tree ,,,i planted an azalea so she will be surrounded by flowers most of the year,,,i left a note with her to look out for a friends dog who had passed away ,,so she would have a friend,,,,,,it has been 2 years,,she was a gorgeous girl,we got her for free from a note in a window when she was 6 months,,,,she pooped, chewed my outdoor setting, dug massive oles in the back yard,,,,,,she was always happy to see us,,,,,,,,,i stiil get teary thinking about her,,,,,,,,,but knowing she wasnt alone makes it a little easier.
