16 Stars That Have Changed a Lot Since Their First Time on the Red Carpet

All of us change over time and our clothes also change under the influence of fashion and our own preferences. The appearance of celebrities doesn’t stay the same either and sometimes the transformations are so stunning that it can be pretty hard to recognize some famous people in photos from 5-10 years ago.

We at Bright Side have a hard time believing that these 16 celebrities looked like this at the start of their careers. Just look at the clothes they wore during their first appearances at red carpet events.

1. Blake Lively

This actress became famous after she participated in the series Gossip Girl from 2007 to 2012. But even before that, Blake was in several projects and was on the red carpet in 2005 wearing very trendy clothes for the time.

2. Margot Robbie

Robbie was born in Australia and became famous there. Obviously, she wore more bold and revealing dresses for different events. After she moved to the US in 2011, she became a world-famous star and changed her style.

3. Charlie Hunnam

This actor started his career in 1998 at the age of 18, having been discovered at 17, when he was seen in a shop and invited to star in movies. His first big success was the film Green Street in 2005. At the time, he didn’t have a beard, so it’s hard to recognize him.

4. Emma Stone

Emma Stone started her career acting in TV series and her first film, Superbad, was released in 2007. Stone wore this cute dress to the premiere. Over the years, her style has become more elegant, but her poses are still the same.

5. Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson first appeared in a film when she was a child, but her 2003 role in Lost in Translation was a turning point in her career. This is when big changes happened to her style and her clothes became more feminine.

Ryan became an actor in his childhood when he appeared on The Mickey Mouse Club. Since then, he has been climbing the career ladder, but his breakthrough moment was in 2004 when he got a part in The Notebook. He’s changed quite a bit since then.

8. Emily Blunt

Emily became popular after she played the assistant in The Devil Wears Prada in 2006 and since then, she has appeared at hundreds of celebrity events and has changed her style a lot.

9. Rihanna

The singer moved to the US at the age of 16, and in 2005 she released her first album that was hugely successful. At the time, she didn’t look very flashy, but in the following years, she showed the world her original style.

10. Gigi and Bella Hadid

In 2014, Gigi already had some experience in the modeling world and even appeared in shows during Fashion Week. At the time, 18-year-old Bella was making her first career steps and it’s kind of hard to recognize her in the photo.

The most scandalous singer of the last decade released her first album in 2008. And in 2009, she was already popular around the entire world. Today Lady Gaga is still edgy, but also more elegant.

When he first portrayed Wolverine in 2000, he became famous around the world. After many years, it seems that he hasn’t aged much at all. It’s just that his suits and shirts have become a lot more elegant.

Kim Kardashian used to work as Paris Hilton’s assistant, accompanying her to different events. At the time, in 2006, she didn’t look like a fashion icon. But in 2007, Keeping Up with the Kardashians started and Kim started to create her own unique style in clothes.
