We at Bright Side are inspired by Carrie-Anne Moss and are sharing 9 things that make her not just a good actress, but a good person as well.

Moss confessed that during the filming of The Matrix, besides breaking up with her boyfriend, she had serious financial problems: “I wasn’t paid much money to do The Matrix. It took a year of my life, and I lost my insurance because I was working out of the country [in Australia]. I thought, ’My God, I’m going to have to wait on tables while I have this huge movie coming out.’” Fortunately, she was advanced $10,000 and the movie was quite successful, so her life and career were saved.

2. She was named after a song.

She was named after The Hollies’ hit song, “Carrie-Anne,” which was released 2 months before she was born in 1967.

3. She starred in the TV series, Matrix, before the famous blockbuster, The Matrix.

It may be hard to believe, but Carrie-Anne Moss’s first big role was on a TV show called Matrix back in 1993. What a coincidence! It looks like she was meant to become Trinity.
