A Homeless Woman Receives a Full Makeover and Impresses the Whole World

More than half of the world’s population brushes their teeth twice a day, and 2% of people admitted to never brushing their teeth. We might think celebrities, who seem to “have it all,” practice personal hygiene and don’t go a day without showering. After all, we each have our unique habits and if it works for us, we shouldn’t change them just to conform to society’s beliefs. We found 10 talented celebrities who shared their quirks when it comes to their own personal care.
The Twilight-to-Batman actor sees no point in washing his hair — and has even gone 6 weeks without it. “I don’t care if it’s clean or not,” Pattinson said. He believes his hair starts to cleanse itself, and that it has one role — to stay on the top of his head.
The High School Musical actor goes days without showering, despite being a fitness enthusiast. He’s rather a fan of a quick refresh, using baby wipes.
Charlize Theron doesn’t think that showering is necessary. As she remarks, “I’m a tough girl and I can not shower for a week — I’m fine with that. I’m very spoiled and I don’t take for granted how lucky I am to stay in fancy hotels and fly first-class. So, when I do have a little time off, I like to get down and dirty camping or traveling to countries that don’t have the luxuries.”
McConaughey never wears deodorant or cologne. “The women in my life, including my mother, have all said, ’Hey, your natural smell smells, one, like a man, and, two, smells like you,’” the actor shared.
According to a stylist, Uma Thurman showed up at work “wearing clothes covered in crusty food,” a few times. She added, “I pulled a piece of shrimp off her back that I swear was 2 weeks old.”
The actress has entered a time in her life where she doesn’t put any energy into the way she looks, rocking her self-acceptance. She never washes her face. “I don’t want it to be about what I look like,” she says. “I literally do nothing. I have billions of products that I use twice a month if I’m lucky.”
Kristen Bell believes peeing is a waste of time, so much so, that she often leaves used toilet paper pieces on the toilet seat. The actress posted a video of being caught in the act by her husband, who said this sort of incident happens 4 to 5 times a week.
Julia Roberts doesn’t take showers too often because she’s all about saving water—she’s really into being eco-friendly. She also shared with Oprah that she doesn’t use deodorant either. “It’s just never been my thing,” she told.
Jennifer Lawrence once shared a funny story about using sinks as toilets, and she was with her friends Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson when she talked about it.
She said that sometimes when she and her friends are in a bathroom and need to use the toilet, they might use a sink instead. She joked that when there’s a line for the bathroom, and she’s the one waiting, she would use the sink because she doesn’t want to wait. She even mentioned Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson being there when she told this story.
She also said something silly about not washing her hands after using the bathroom, but later she admitted it was just a joke to tease her friends. She clarified that she does actually wash her hands after using the bathroom.
However, not all popular hygiene habits are healthy. Some of them can actually be harmful to us. Even the way we dry our bodies after showering and cut our nails matter.
