Some famous people are ashamed of getting plastic surgery and even tell lies to cover it up. But many celebs speak openly about the reasons why they chose to get Botox or a nose job. In fact, many of them are so happy with the results they see no point in hiding the fact that they underwent cosmetic surgery.

1. Chrissy Teigen

The supermodel revealed she removed her armpit fat and is really happy with the result. “I had an armpit sucked out, which was one of the best things. It’s a big secret, but I don’t care. It was nine years ago or so. And I had two inches to my armpit. It was so easy. It made me feel better in dresses, I felt more confident,” she shared.

2. Vanessa Williams

The Desperate Housewives star is pretty open about getting Ultherapy to achieve her youthful appearance. She admits it’s painful, but the actress is sure it’s worth it. “It hurt the first time I did it and I swore I would never do it again, but three months later my makeup artist asked what I did and said my face was really tight and looked great,” she said.

3. Dolly Parton

The country singer isn’t shy to admit she’s undergone plastic surgery. “It is true that I look artificial, but I believe that I’m totally real,” she said. “My look is really based on a country girl’s idea of glam. I wasn’t naturally pretty, so I make the most of anything I’ve got.”

4. Katy Perry

The Chained to the Rhythm singer has gotten cosmetic surgery to maintain her flawless look, and she even jokingly suggested it as a way to get rid of dark circles under eyes. “I’ve done lasers and got [filler] injections under my eyes for the hollowing — which I’d recommend for everyone who wants a solution for their dark circles,” she said.

5. Cindy Crawford

The legendary supermodel swears by her healthy diet and exercise, but she isn’t shy to admit she had Botox in the past. “I’m not going to lie to myself, past a certain age, creams work on the texture of your skin but, in order to restore elasticity, all I can really count on is vitamin injections, botox, and collagen. I have a very simple, healthy life, which works miracles. I drink a lot of water, watch what I eat, and exercise... but I owe the quality of my skin to my cosmetic surgeon,” she shared.

The actress best known for portraying Queen Elizabeth II in the drama series The Crown revealed she got Botox several years ago. The Oscar winner was happy with the result, but managed to keep her Botox a secret from her husband. “I have done Botox and I LOVED it [but] I’ve done it when I know there is a big gap [between roles]. I didn’t tell my husband and then for about six months he kept saying, ’Hello, Pretty!’”, she laughed.

The award-winning actress leads a healthy lifestyle, but she admitted to getting lasers to make her fine lines less noticeable. “I use organic products, but I get lasers. It’s what makes life interesting, finding the balance. I’ve probably tried everything. I would be scared to go under the knife, but you know, talk to me when I’m 50. I’ll try anything,” she shared.

The Big Bang Theory star has had plastic surgery and she isn’t afraid to talk openly about it. “As much as you want to love your inner self, I’m sorry, you also want to look good. I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing,” she said.

9. Ashley Tisdale

The actress had a rhinoplasty for medical reasons. "I didn’t do this because I believe in plastic surgery. I did this to help my health. I literally almost could not breathe out of the right side of my nose, she said. "I want my fans to know the truth. I’m not someone who is going to act like I had nothing done. I just want to be honest because my fans are everything to me.

What do you think of plastic surgery? Do you think it’s better to hide the fact that you had plastic surgery or speak openly about it?
