50 years ago, if you wanted to ask your favorite actor from across the world a question, it would automatically become a rhetorical one — because you’d just never get an answer. Today, through social media and lots of luck, your most admired celebrity can personally answer you, in writing. Keanu Reeves was invited to an AskMeAnything event on Reddit, and we chose the most interesting questions and answers that made us admire the actor even more.

  • Not stolen... the watch and wedding ring from John Wick, a sword from 47 Ronin, and the first red pill that the Wachowskis ever gave me.”

3. “Have you ever had a pet?”

  • “Yes... the first pet I ever had was a guinea pig named Carrot. I was 5 or 6 years old. He was a cutie pie.”

It wasn’t extracurricular, but we went off the beaten path a bit and came back and no helmets. Just 2 friends playing. It was a really good day.”

My question for you is: What’s something awesome that someone did for YOU recently?”

Keanu answered, “You calling me awesome was the most recent example of something awesome someone did for me... and then a few weeks back my motorcycle broke down and a friend of mine walked me through how to fix it over FaceTime.”
