Michelle had a low-key and intimate celebration to mark her 65th milestone, and she gave her Instagram fans a glimpse of the special day. And the actress’s followers were quick to notice how naturally radiant she looked, especially in an industry that tries to reverse signs of aging at any cost.

She loves to keep it real

Pfeiffer shared a makeup-free snap of her sitting at the table and holding a tasty birthday cake with her 2.8 million Instagram followers. She captioned it: ’’Cheers to another beautiful lap around the sun! Thanks for the sweet birthday messages, everyone!’’

Her post quickly gathered thousands of likes and warm birthday wishes from fans as well as fellow celebrities like John Travolta, Dakota Fanning, and Kate Beckinsale.

And just ahead of her birthday, the mother-of-2 shared another casual photo of her at the beach. She wrote, “I have always found being near water to be so calming. Perhaps I was a whale in a past life.”

And even though she was wearing big sunglasses in her selfie, fans still noticed how fresh and natural she looked. They showed their appreciation by showering her with compliments like, ’’You’re a natural beauty just like the water.’’

She leads a simple lifestyle

It seems that the stunning Hollywood A-lister prioritizes her comfort in her everyday life as she often shares authentic selfies with minimal or no makeup.

And speaking of her beauty secrets, Michelle once shared that she has none. She simply makes sure to get enough sleep, exercise, and eat healthily.

She want to grow older in a natural way

The 65-year-old also admits that drastic plastic surgery is not for her. She noted, ’’All I really care about is that I’m able to age gracefully and that I don’t ever look like a wax figure of myself.’’

Having said that, the actress shared that the idea of getting a little work done crosses her mind from time to time. She admitted, ’’I’m not saying that I won’t have plastic surgery at some point. I think that it’s harder and harder the older you get to say never.’’

Being comfortable in your own skin is what really matters

Pfeiffer believes that looking beautiful is more a question of attitude. She explained, ’’Attractiveness has more to do with the way you feel about yourself. And the swagger that can come with that.’’

She also observed, ’’Confidence is all about attitude. How often have you met a person who may not look like a Barbie or Ken doll but just has something classy about them?’’
